2005-06 District Accountability Contract Approved

The Board of School Trustees, School District 48 (Howe Sound) approved our 2005-2006 District Accountability Contract on October 31, 2005.

District Accountability Contracts are each British Columbia school boards' public commitment to improving student achievement. They are based on thoughtful consideration of student performance data and reflect the unique characteristics, priorities and needs of each district.

School districts completed accountability contracts for the first time in 2001. They have been completed annually since then. These contracts are part of an annual accountability cycle for schools, school districts, and for the Ministry of Education.

District Staff will meet with Education Partners as part of an ongoing process to review the October 31, 2005 edition which can be downloaded in pdf format by clicking here. Revisions of this first edition may be recommended to the Board, following the consultation process.
